International Congress on University Development
Message from Dr. Eduardo Díaz Ocampo - RECTOR
It is an honour for our Alma Mater to invite the scientific, academic, professional, business, and student community to participate in the VI International Congress on University Development CIDU-2024. In the previous edition, held in 2023, we recorded a notable participation with 14,414 registered attendees, which included four in-person keynote lectures and 80 virtual ones, as well as 593 presentations reflecting advances in various fields of knowledge. This event, conducted in a hybrid format, fostered an enriching exchange of ideas and experiences among participants from 16 countries, all documented in the congress’s proceedings book with ISBN, resulting in more than 150 articles published in impactful journals.
The sixth edition of CIDU, titled "Research in the Era of Artificial Intelligence", will take place from 4 to 6 December 2024 at the Central Campus. Organised by the collective faculties of our university, this congress will create spaces for interinstitutional cooperation, involving faculty, researchers, students, and professionals. Throughout the event, keynote lectures will be presented, and research findings will be shared, focusing on the challenges and opportunities presented by artificial intelligence in academic and professional settings. Additionally, ethical considerations and the importance of having quality data will be addressed, promoting a constructive debate on the future of research in this new technological era. We look forward to welcoming you to be part of this transformative scientific event!
